Heartfelt Thanks to Dünyagöz Hospital Altunizade We spent two weeks at this hospital, and first of all, I would like to sincerely thank Dünyagöz Hospital Altunizade. I can confidently say that this is a world-class, highly qualified hospital that truly meets international standards. One of our family members was in a serious condition and had a very severe eye problem that could not be successfully treated in Georgia. That is why we decided to seek treatment in Türkiye. Today, we can confidently say that the professional care and treatment we received here fulfilled our hopes and expectations. I would like to express my special gratitude to Professor Levent Akçay, who successfully performed such a difficult and serious operation. His professionalism, experience, and confidence meant a great deal to us. I would also like to thank all the doctors who helped us during this difficult time and stood by our family. However, this achievement is not the result of just one doctor — it is the result of the collective, professional, and dedicated work of the entire team. I would like to give a very special thank-you to Ms. Nina. A few sentences are certainly not enough to describe everything she did for us. To us, she was not only a highly qualified receptionist and interpreter, but also a guide, a helper, and someone we could always rely on. Nina would practically contact us every hour to check how we were doing. Her support was not limited to the hospital — she gave us advice and guidance about getting around the city, helped us obtain a telephone and transportation card, showed us routes and important places, and made sure we felt comfortable in an unfamiliar country. Before the operation, her support and positive attitude helped us stay calm and approach such a difficult moment with much less anxiety. After the operation, we felt her care even more. She was constantly there for us, and even during her own time off, she remained available whenever we needed her. There are so many things we could mention about her kindness and support that an entire story could be written about it. Thank you so much, Nina, for everything! I would also like to express my special gratitude to our nurses — Melike, Tuana, Esra, Ayşe, Hilal, Burca, and Mehtap. They took care of us around the clock, 24/7. They reassured us, gave us hope, kept our spirits up, and whenever necessary, performed their duties at the highest professional level. Their attention and genuine human warmth were just as important to us as their medical professionalism. They are truly highly qualified nurses with years of experience and, most importantly, with exceptional care and compassion for their patients. A heartfelt thank-you to every one of them! I would also like to thank the housekeeping staff. They were very warm, positive, and attentive people. We would also like to thank the food service team: the meals were delicious, suitable for the patient’s needs, and always delivered on time. A special thank-you also goes to the security staff. They were always warm and attentive, frequently checking on us and even showing their kindness through small gestures, such as offering us tea. Such a caring attitude means a great deal to both patients and their families. The hospital cafeteria is also a very cozy and pleasant place. I do not want to leave anyone out, because during these two weeks, so many people supported us. Therefore, I would like to sincerely thank every employee and doctor at Dünyagöz Hospital Altunizade who stood by our side during this difficult period. Your professionalism, care, and human kindness made a lasting impression on us. This is truly a world-class hospital, where medical expertise is combined with genuine warmth and compassion.
